About me:
Hi everyone, my name is Nelson Ramirez. I am a New York based Flash Developer currently learning android.
I’ve fallen in love with android and I wanted to document my learning journey in the hopes that it will not only help me but also other people new to android.
While I work in a digital agency (of the decade) doing creative advertising my passion has always been games. With android and mobile I hope to make a return to gaming. {something about social games}
Why android?
because it’s cool. connections, social, sensors, very personal. communicate interact with other devices.
My android:
I recently got an Motorola Droid X , a piece of hardware which I like a lot.
My app:
My app is a step counter that can run in the background and record your GPS location.
What it will do:
You can record and view how many steps you’ve taken.
You can view an estimate of how far you’ve walked.
You can view a map that traces the GPS route you have walked while recording your steps.
You can start and stop the recording of your steps.
